DataScope is pleased to announce David Walmsley’s new appointment as Product Lead, AI & Logistics.
David’s journey with DataScope began 14 years ago when he joined the business as a Helpdesk Technician/Developer before progressing to Helpdesk Manager. David played a key role in research and development, creating prototypes that evolved into products still used by customers today. He also contributed to the enhancement of several core solutions, including DataScope’s delivery management and workforce management systems.
David later transitioned into Project Management, bringing his strong technical background to the successful delivery of complex deployments. Over the years, he has led a wide range of high-profile logistics projects for globally recognised organisations, building extensive experience across the logistics sector.
Throughout his career at DataScope, David has developed a deep understanding of our customers, our products, and the delivery models that help organisations optimise their operations.
In his new role as Product Lead, AI & Logistics, David will lead the development and execution of DataScope’s AI strategy while continuing to drive the evolution of our DMS and logistics solutions.
For our customers, this means an increased focus on applying artificial intelligence in practical, impactful ways. By embedding AI into our logistics solutions, we aim to help organisations unlock greater value from their data, improve operational efficiency, and make faster, better-informed decisions.
