Inside DataScope’s New Operations Hub: Purpose-Built for Delivering DataScope’s In-House Service

Moving Into Our New Operations Hub

As DataScope continues to grow in both scale and capability, we’ve taken a significant step forward by relocating to a new, purpose-built operations hub.

“We’ve built this new hub around how we work. Fast-paced, hands-on, and fully in-house, so we can keep delivering the personal, responsive support our clients rely on, even as demand grows.”

Craig Douglas, Operations Manager at DataScope

Every space and detail of the new hub has been designed to enhance our service, from faster dispatch and smarter staging to supporting collaborative client engagement further through the launch of our exciting new IPD room (coming very soon!).

Our new space gives us even tighter control of operations and strengthens our ability to deliver what we’re known for: fast, personal, reliable service and 100% in-house.

Rapid Response Times You Can Count On

We’re proud to consistently deliver fast, dependable support that keeps our clients’ operations running. With a fully in-house team and tight control of every stage of our process, our response times set us apart:

  • Initial support response within 1–2 hours during working hours
  • Critical issues, like system crashes, are typically acknowledged within 30 minutes and resolved same day
  • On-site visits scheduled the same or next working day, depending on complexity
  • Installation turnaround from order to go-live within 2–3 weeks

Thanks to continuous investment in quality control, training, and process development, the number of fault calls has dropped by 43% over the last five years, and 17% compared to just last year. Our systems are getting stronger, and our response is getting faster.

In-House and Hands-On. Our Team Behind the Service

Every part of our service is delivered by our own team – ensuring consistency, accountability, and a deep understanding of our clients’ needs.

From software development and installation to support and long-term maintenance, our in-house team covers it all. We’re growing this team to match rising demand, without losing the hands-on, personal approach that defines our service.

Team snapshot

  • Several engineers are already based at our depot, with a few new team members currently onboarding and room for more as we anticipate growing demand in the coming months.
  • We’re actively developing the skill set and responsibilities of our existing team, enabling them to take ownership of key service and product areas.

By building from within, we’re evolving our people, our expertise, and our capacity to deliver.

Quality Control That Starts Before Site and Remains Long After

Because we own the entire workflow, from design through to installation and support, we don’t leave anything to chance.

Key measures in place

  • Visual inspections and functional testing completed before anything leaves our facility
  • Fully configured and diagnostics-run systems for out-of-the-box deployment
  • Engineers verify and commission each system on-site
  • Post-deployment monitoring and remote diagnostics reduce the need for repeat callouts

Having complete visibility of what’s being deployed means fewer issues, faster fixes, and more time spent delivering value on-site.

Our New Hub: Built for Bigger, Faster, Smarter Support

We’ve invested in a purpose-built space to cement our product ownership and extend our in-house delivery model, so we can maintain control as we grow at scale.

Why the depot matters

  • Centralised staging and testing ensures every unit is deployment-ready
  • Improved logistics and faster dispatch to send teams and kit to multiple sites, on the same-day if needed
  • Dedicated QA and simulation areas allowing systems to be tested in ‘live’ conditions
  • Increased stock holding gives us agility to respond to spikes in demand

Following the success of our IPD Room at our Chester office, our new hub has its very own IPD room in development. This new addition will support showcasing DataScope’s collaborative planning software, DataTouch functionality and our integrated systems. Keep an eye out in the coming months for the big reveal!

Owning the Workflow. Owning the Outcome.

We don’t outsource. We don’t cut corners. And we don’t believe in handing off responsibility.

Every DataScope system is

  • Designed, built, and tested by our team
  • Deployed and supported by our engineers
  • Monitored and maintained by people who know the systems inside out

By keeping everything under one roof and continuing to expand with purpose, we’re able to scale without compromise. That means you will always get the fast, personal support you need, backed by a team that’s proud to stand behind every system we deliver.
