Fundraising for UNICEF’s Ukraine Appeal

DataScope Completes Fitness Challenge in Aid of UNICEF’s Ukraine Crisis Appeal

Unicef fitness challenge

The team at DataScope have raised vital funds for UNICEF’s Ukraine appeal, an important cause which aims to support children and their families during the devastating crisis in Ukraine.

On the 11th of April 2022 we started a fundraising fitness challenge which consisted of walking, running, cycling and swimming. We set ourselves a target of reaching 2,066km which is equivalent to the distance from our Chester office to the Ukrainian boarder.

After a month of fitness activities, the DataScope team showed a collaborative effort to not only achieve our goal, but to excel to an impressive 2,416km. This meant we had progressed further than the Ukrainian boarder and made it passed a village in Ukraine called Synhai, just outside of Kyiv.

We are pleased to say we have raised £1,270 in total, which will all go to UNICEF’s appeal to help children and their families affected by the ongoing crisis. We applaud our staff who took part in the challenge and appreciate all the support from donations.
